I am in the generational no-man's-land between gen X and millennials. By DOB technically "millennial", but when people say "millennial" they're not thinking of me or my age group. We are the forgotten, the neglected. The pics reflect this and the kid culture of my childhood is divided between the late x and early millennial collages. Reared on TMNT, WWF and Disney afternoons, but equally Nicktoons etc. He-Man, Transformers, Thundercats etc was def before my time.

late Gen X, does kind of work with a bit of crossover either side (e.g. ET/Dark Crystal/Smurfs from Core Gen X and Fresh Prince/Ren & Stimpy/Simpsons from Early Millenial - I mean I was a teenager when those were on, but still a child?)

late gen X/early millenial. i still believe that those of us born between 78-85 are not accurately described by any of these generational marketing names.

Core GenXer here who voted click to zoom in for the unknown culture reference of W's afro wig, maybe a late millennial or early zoomer could explain it to me.

whoa hold on -- there is only ONE level of zoom for this image? some of these things I cannot fucking read because they're super fucking blurry and small because I am OVER 40 -- what an ageist jpg omg
― sarahell, Friday, 19 June 2020 15:28 (three years ago) link
Early Gen X for culture, but born too early (1962) to fit any of these. I'm Boomer-X Cusp. (Or I'm Val-John-Pete. Lesley will always be The New One.)
