I don't know where you're from (I just can't keep track), but Delaware seems to fit nice beside Statscock Whore.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 22 September 2003 14:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Phil, me and you, we'll be the Asian Odd Couple.

Leee (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2003 19:31 (twenty-one years ago)

If you wear coordinated glitter shirts, I'll cheer for you!

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Monday, 22 September 2003 19:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I'm going to practice balancing things on my nose!

Leee (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2003 19:40 (twenty-one years ago)

Hey I'm pretty good. So far, I can balance a glitter shirt.

Leee (Leee), Monday, 22 September 2003 19:46 (twenty-one years ago)

ten months pass...
I know I'm probably alone here, but it's still the best and i'm still watching. 3 shows in South America! That's a record, i think. Caviar, a dwarf, Christian models. What's not to like? No gay couple though!

scott seward (scott seward), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:13 (twenty years ago)

im watching. i hate the dwarf.

Velveteen Bingo (Chris V), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:16 (twenty years ago)

Emergencia! Need doctor-o!

Maria D. (Maria D.), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:17 (twenty years ago)

Now they have adopted a russian accent. I was hoping one of the ruski's would have fired a 99 mph slapshot at her gullet.

Velveteen Bingo (Chris V), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:19 (twenty years ago)

She brought it on herself. She went out of her way to say on the first show that she was gonna disprove stereotypes about little people and that they could do anything and then proceeded to play the helpless little person card over and over again. She's shameless!

scott seward (scott seward), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:20 (twenty years ago)

and her fuxxoring friend mirna, ugh. she reminds me of my friends wife. end-o

Velveteen Bingo (Chris V), Friday, 30 July 2004 12:20 (twenty years ago)

I agree with all of the comments made so far. I hate the dwarf too, but think that Mirna is far more useless than she is. And incredibly annoying.
I also hate how Brandon seems to throw his sexism on God's lap, as if God if forcing him to ignore his girlfriend. And like Scott, I was sad to see the lack of gay couple on this series as well.

Jonathan (Jonathan), Friday, 30 July 2004 13:11 (twenty years ago)

No clowns, either. :(
And Major Dad and Hot Daughter have alrady been eliminated. :( :(

The Dreaded Rear Admiral (Leee), Friday, 30 July 2004 20:03 (twenty years ago)

Cool twist!

Anyone else indie-crushing on the Twins?

The Dreaded Rear Admiral (Leee), Wednesday, 4 August 2004 04:58 (twenty years ago)

Brandon is also completely useless.

The Dreaded Rear Admiral (Leee), Wednesday, 4 August 2004 05:02 (twenty years ago)

Anyone else indie-crushing on the Twins?
If you're into really annoying and bitchy women, then I could see liking them. But I just think they've been nasty, annoying and kinda stupid from the beginning.

Jonathan (Jonathan), Thursday, 5 August 2004 16:50 (twenty years ago)

Charla and Mirna are COMEDY GOLD.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:14 (twenty years ago)

The logic of shouting "Bellissimo!" to people in Russia still escapes me.

Leon Czolgosz (Nicole), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:28 (twenty years ago)

"MUY RAPIDO, POR FAVOR! RAPIDO, PLEASE!"

St. Nicholas (Nick A.), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:29 (twenty years ago)

Mirna has made me cry with laughter in every episode broadcast.

"Charla, this 150 pound slab of meat is HEAVY! Can you put it on your head?"

"An eating contest! Charla, you do it."

"Did someone just call me a bitch?"

Colin is also fantastically funny in how incredibly mean he is towards Christie.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:31 (twenty years ago)

I think Colin and Mirna are going to have a major throw-down in the next episode, should be entertaining.

Leon Czolgosz (Nicole), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:32 (twenty years ago)

"JUST EAT THE DAMN CAVIAR OR WE'RE GOING TO LOSE THE RACE!!!!"
"Look, just stop talking; you get very tense when you're stressed and it makes people uncomfortable."

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:34 (twenty years ago)

"The logic of shouting "Bellissimo!" to people in Russia still escapes me."

Hahahaha!! That was a hilarious moment. It was as close as she could get to Russian, I guess.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:36 (twenty years ago)

RUN FASTER, CHARLA!!!!

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:37 (twenty years ago)

I'm pretty sure she's running as fast as she can.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:37 (twenty years ago)

Especially since she's invariably carrying both backpacks and towing a tractor trailer.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:38 (twenty years ago)

Ha Ha!!

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:39 (twenty years ago)

It's kinda like last year when that one model had to literally carry the other model around the world on her back. It was excruciating.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:40 (twenty years ago)

Was anyone else disturbed by how Christie, Nickie and KAMIKARLI reacted to the caviar challenge? Since when does eating a large amount of food put you into an "i'm so cold" trauma coma?

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:45 (twenty years ago)

I heart Mirna and Schmirna.

morris pavilion (samjeff), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:47 (twenty years ago)

The jet-lag of being on a plane for 20 hours plus the high fat and sodium content could make somebody sick -- it worked out to 2+ pounds of caviar.

Leon Czolgosz (Nicole), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:48 (twenty years ago)

I liked how whichever of the twins took that task started out eating the caviar with the crackers (kind of like how they both decided to swim the episode before that, when no swimming was needed).

morris pavilion (samjeff), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:50 (twenty years ago)

But the crackers make it less disgusting!

Huck, Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:51 (twenty years ago)

Those two dudes were wimpy about the caviar though. They made their girlfriends do it and then they were less than helpful. To say the least. I hate goldilocks and the other guy.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:53 (twenty years ago)

Blondefro is such a wimp -- he looked like he was going to cry when his girlfriend wanted him to do the challenge where he had to go into the tomb.

Leon Czolgosz (Nicole), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:57 (twenty years ago)

I could understand wanting to throw up, but I really didn't understand Nicole's reaction. She was reacting like she'd eaten strychnine.

Another classic moment: Charla spitting half-chewed chocolates all over the tray in the chocolate factory, making an already disgusting task that extra bit more revolting.

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 17:59 (twenty years ago)

(I guess the moral of the story is: DON'T EAT A FUCKLOAD OF CAVIAR BECAUSE YOU WILL DIE)

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Thursday, 5 August 2004 18:00 (twenty years ago)

I wanna try that caviar, just to gauge the likelihood of me getting through two pounds. (Is that a portion that the restaurant would actually serve, or would it be a challenging amount even to your average Russian caviar fan?)

morris pavilion (samjeff), Thursday, 5 August 2004 18:03 (twenty years ago)

The caviar thing is like when you challenge one of your buddies to eat a boxful of Krispy Kremes in 20 minutes and he passes out when he's done.

I liked how after the caviar challenge when the Twins came in, the one who didn't eat was all, "WHOO HOO!" jumping up and down, but the one who ate was all, "ugh."

Jimmy Carter, History's Greatest Monster (Leee), Thursday, 5 August 2004 19:37 (twenty years ago)

Anyway, I think they're cute, not likeable.

Jimmy Carter, History's Greatest Monster (Leee), Thursday, 5 August 2004 19:38 (twenty years ago)

It was funny how, in the procession of teams reaching the finish line, whichever of the two didn't eat the caviar was beaming and clapping, while their partner looked ashen and unhappy.

My most-hated team is those two asshats from Brooklyn. "This place if full of dumb foreigners!," etc.

morris pavilion (samjeff), Thursday, 5 August 2004 19:46 (twenty years ago)

They've had better dumbo twins. That one Brooklyn dude really does look hobbled.

I don't know if i've already said this, but The Amazing Race has consistantly good casting. They are excellent at finding entertaining squabbling couples and "types" that are highly entertaining.

scott seward (scott seward), Thursday, 5 August 2004 20:37 (twenty years ago)

Watched this for this first time in a few weeks last night. What a great show.

na (Nick A.), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:56 (twenty years ago)

I think that this season is the worst casting so far, but it's still a great show.
I love (as in love to hate) the two young couples. Esp. the self-described "intense guy". What a cock.

Huck, Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:59 (twenty years ago)

Last nite was a good one. Amazing Race history was made!

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 16:59 (twenty years ago)

It was really speedy last nite too. I mean, most of the episodes are speedy, but they were really moving.

scott seward (scott seward), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 17:01 (twenty years ago)

Despite the brothers being cocks, I did feel bad for the one with the knee problems. It was amusing watching everyone else running around like freaks and then them crawling along patiently. I really want Mirna and Charla to lose sometime soon.
"MIIIIIRRRNNNNAAAA!"
"CCHHAAAAARRRRLLAA!"

na (Nick A.), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 17:02 (twenty years ago)

Are you kidding???? I want Mirna and Charla to win because I want to see all the other teams cry!

(Although I wouldn't mind if Chip and Kim won.)

VengaDan Perry (Dan Perry), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 17:04 (twenty years ago)

I liked this snippet over on Television Without Pity:

"Even goats don't like Mirna, and they eat cans."

Leon Czolgosz (Nicole), Wednesday, 11 August 2004 17:06 (twenty years ago)

Is "scarab" such an unknown word? I was surprised so many of them didn't know what it was. I loved the guy looking for a sword - he probably confused it with "scabbard".
