Say something nice about another ILXor

xpost yeah I have a hard time describing ILX to people who don't already know it, as "message boards" in 2020 people either think you mean Reddit or like a Joe Bonnamassa phpBB fan-site which sees one new post every two weeks. the idea of a board where some people have posted to it for 20 years seems antiquated.

(course I also don't tell other people about ILX as I definitely aired some dirty laundry foolishly at various times that I wouldn't want to get out).

i was crying last night and didn't really know how to explain it to the non-ILX friends, so I simply wrote a rest in peace message for Morbs that was geared towards ILXors. I never met Bill/Morbs (sadly), but have been following his health journey and it was just overwhelmingly sad to me last night.

I think the only ILXor I met irl was bamcquern.

was supposed to meet NYCNative this year but the festival got cancelled (hopefully next year)?

Sometimes I look back at what I was like when I first started posting here and shudder. I was 29, for heaven's sakes, and still had a lot of growing up to do.

It was/is really nice to see so many departed ILXors return to pay tribute to Morbz ... it's like a "very special episode of ILX"

I am planning to get the ILX logo tattooed on me sometime before I die.

The only people I've ever met irl from ilx, from the old chilxor crew, all seem to have disappeared or post v v v v v v v infrequently (except Josh). feels weird that the only ILX'rs i have met was on a mad work trip to chicgao many many years ago (2010! bloody hell).
in 20 years here i have never knowingly met any of the UK crew other than Doran, but he is no longer involved here and i know him via playlouder as opposed to ILx.
