evan - i think about that festival a lot, was such a fun, amazing weekend, going to all these different bars and venues, meeting people from all over the world, seeing amazing music...i don't know, i guess you don't know what you have until it's gone, if things go back to "normal" i won't take those type of experiences for granted anymore.

Definitely feel the same! Such a nice festival. May I also add to that taking friends for granted. Was easier to be anti-social media when there were other ways to connect with people. 2020 means I am extra disconnected. ILX is at least some social interaction even if I'm not very good at it. I appreciate being able to tune in and get intelligent perspectives here.

...unless it's about what happened or is happening in the narrative of a TV drama, my god. From my experience in those threads ILX can't seem to follow a simple storyline or keep track of any characters. So, besides that!

haha, wow! i totally forgot about that. that definitely seems like a late night blackout post, sadly. i was in my 5th or 6th month of unemployment that year (2016), and it was the week before the election when the real world really was being pulled down into a different, worse dimension. feels like 32 years ago tbh
