Yeah I was kind of joking with the shithole comment. I was generally thinking of “pleasant” market towns outside London. Conventional wisdom is these places are not shitholes. Couldn’t pay me to live in one though.

pretty much everywhere that isn't a major city in the u.s. is a shithole imo, i imagine it's the same for the uk.

could be a silhouette of south america on the pink poster on the middle column - or it could be a completely unrelated shape. also posters with south america on may appear in non south american countries.

This is a tough one!

I have very little to offer on this one so far. I initially thought it was in Asia but now I really don't. I got traces of Kiev, and traces of Texas but I can't really say why

The (yellow and white?) (sign?) on the overpass in the far right of the photo looks interesting but its too indistinct to really go anywhere with it

Not sure there's enough in that pic for anyone to get it without another pic. But the towers on the far left are all nestled together in a way that I think rules out Western Europe, North America and probably South America as well. Doesn't narrow it down much, but I'm guessing it's either China or Russia

they look like apartment blocks? in north american cities they would be office buildings clustered around a downtown. i think russia or eastern bloc is likely, maybe inland china.
