The Joe Estevez montage during one of the Oscar specials is one of my favorite OC moments. Massive props to whoever actually watched all that footage

He’s such a perfect addition to this show - gives Tim’s endeavors some legitimacy since he has an actual actor with an IMDB page, while also being like a personal hero for Gregg as a guy who’s been in 200-some “popcorn classics” and has tenuous connections to everyone

Just finished the 5th Oscar special and Mark’s emergency was one of the funniest thing they have ever done.

His role as a waiter in season 9 (or was it 8) kills me as well. “PUT IT ON THE TABLE”.

yeah I've rewatched that bit a few times, it's amazing. I feel like had I saw that live I might've actually been fooled for a few seconds that something happened to Mark

according to the testimony i saw on the trial of tim heidecker, i believe something did happen to Mark

Echoing everyone, Mark is their secret weapon.

i watched his first appearance on the 2nd oscar special last night and the debut of mark's chaplin impersonation + tim belligerently telling him to talk had me rolling on the fucking floor

mark's chaplin was absolutely perfect, straight out of the box

impersonating the Three Stooges one at a time is such a next-level bit. I love how every Oscar Special has at least one section where Tim can't hold it together and it always seems to involve Mark

also the fact that he's constantly slipping in and out of the WC Fields voice

i'm on season five, right in the middle of the jacksonhole storyline (hog shots!!!), and the funniest thing in the world is tim, legally blinded after getting into an accident on his (stationary) motorcycle, having the movie descriptions piped into an earpiece because he'd rather that than gregg read them, and of course this makes them far longer and more riddled with errors

or in s5e7 when two minutes in tim says "thanks for watching" and the lights dim before they review any movies
