I don't tend to try and guess it right off the bat by counting numbers and so on. I like chipping away at it bit by bit so that it gradually reveals itself.

i find this so much more satisfying, but all of the stats and stuff always push me towards trying to do it quick.

took me FOREVER to even get close. i think i had like 5 hits in the first 40 or so?! temperature was my first in, then after flailing i tried some high temp things which led me to core and mantle, and then eventually i just tried rock and two guesses later i got there (why i went sed before met when temperature is involved is beyond me)
