Those of you who managed to solve it: what device were you on?

I solved Redactle Unlimited in 20 guesses with an accuracy of 50% and a time of 00:07:07.no bugs whatsoever here, nothing out of the ordinary - well, actually there was, an actual full-colour representation of the subject at hand appeared once I’d solved the puzzle, that has never happened beforeI’m on my iPhone.

Desktop, Redactle-Unlimited, no problems, although I had to enter the "s" after the apostrophe separately from "Earth" -- "earth's" returned 0 hits.

I noticed a Hint 0/3 button--is that new?
― rob, Monday, 30 January 2023 21:12 (two years ago)
I had no effing idea what todays was til I looked at some clues here. Yeah I think the hints are new? First ive noticed them
― Stoop Crone (Trayce), Monday, 30 January 2023 21:23 (two years ago)
oh, you’re right. don’t think I ever saw that before (although I didn’t notice it was there today either, so who knows)
― the shaker intro bit the shaker outro in the tail, hard (breastcrawl), Monday, 30 January 2023 21:26 (two years ago)
So, people are seeing an apostrophe already there on the grid, then entering Earth and s separately? I don’t have that, just a solid seven character grey block for the first word. I can fill in the whole three word title, but without redactle marking it as solved. That’s on laptop, iPad and also iPhone (I just checked).

Which site are you using? Original hasn't been maintained and certain articles have broken it to various degrees in the past. https://redactle-unlimited.com/ should let you win, as I and number of other people who use it have beaten it today.
― John Mayer McCheese (Leee), Tuesday, 31 January 2023 00:00 (two years ago)
Yeah stop using redactle.com if you are - it is shit when something's oddly formatted.

I solved Redactle Unlimited #300 in 3 guesses with an accuracy of 66.67% and a time of 00:09:32.should be an easy 1 for anyone but me. I got the concept right away, but I picked an incorrect term instead of the blindingly obvious one

Got it in 19, should have hit it in 12 but got the spelling wrong, used colour instead of color, and got sidetracked.

Super roundabout journey for me: Disney with 7 eventually led me to Snow White, which led to black-and-white, which led to color.

Mild hint if you're stuck: today's might be hard for non-Americans. Pretty clearly a person, and I ran out of 7-letter male names distressingly quickly. Thankfully American was key, and on a lark I tried Revolution, which was the key.

I solved Redactle Unlimited #304 in 1022 guesses with an accuracy of 64.97% and a time of 03:27:23. Hints used: 1 had the title of one of their main works very soon, also got their first name at some point - after I got their initials right. by then it was also painfully clear this was not someone I would have heard of (me being Dutch), so I just used this as an exercise to uncover as much of the text as possible. of course I did take some shots at the surname, but I needed the hint for their original name to get it. (I learned a lot on the way, btw!)
