ha ha ha, thought it made me very smart that I had correctly picked up on that (—-)-a-(——) thing, but it hadn’t occurred to me this would be about a “person”, I only looked at the header again after I had wasted guesses on the (—-) part and the state in question. deplorable!

crutch of england (ledge), Sunday, 13 August 2023 20:21 (one year ago)

I find I have less and less patience going thru these long-ass articles these days. picked up a capitalized “Be” in what looked like an enumeration, tried “element” and went had the luck that it was indeed the only type of group of elements I’m able to name.

did you miss the prominent hieroglyphic clue not all that far down?

slugbuggy, life has new meaning to me (breastcrawl), Tuesday, 15 August 2023 21:45 (one year ago)

anyone know how to play earlier puzzles that you missed? I missed yesterday’s game, but instead of the game # I’m asked to fill out the “Q-ID” - today’s is #Q79876 (if I remember correctly, can’t seem to retrieve it), but when I enter that number minus 1 nothing happens.

slugbuggy, life has new meaning to me (breastcrawl), Tuesday, 15 August 2023 21:56 (one year ago)

On the non-test site, it's a bit of a hassle. What I've done in the past is go to the Redactle Reddit, because they have a daily thread for every day's puzzle, which includes a permalink.

Fortunately for me, the test site lets you navigate prev/next puzzles.
