it's been a fairly regular occurance for teams in lower leagues to start with negative points, it would just be the first time at this level. but by the time it's confirmed, they would presumably have more than 12 points anyway.

Xp There is a certain amount of stuff about betting through illegal, unlicensed channels that people outside of Italy probably don't understand or particularly care about; AFAIK the bigger issue within football is that Tonali has admitted to betting on his own team's matches (albeit purportedly ones he wasn't involved in)

Had not realised until I flicked through Danny Dorling's latest book that the UK is now the world's largest regulated online gambling market - bigger even than the US. Another grand achievement for new Labour.
