fwiw, the non-voters are rarely the ones who rail against the shit going on. they are simply disengaged from politics, or exhausted from trying to keep body and soul together, or living in a crack house, or too timid to think their ideas are worth much, or just don't place much priority on it. There are myriad ways people never get around to voting.

It's taken me long enough, and believe me I've voted in every possible election at every possible occasion, but no longer am I prepared to vote for parties and policies I don't believe in.
