English language, driving on the right, I guess that narrows it down to US/Canada? Identifying the trees could be useful. Two very tall trees on the right with no discernible branches, could be palm trees? But this scene doesn't look particularly southern.

They do look like palm trees. Could be SoCal.

I saw the glass lamp in Sac but its also in Portland near PSU and got more drawn there, mainly due to it not being winter in the Portland coverage.

I agree on the southeast Asia vibe. I think I can see some graffiti on the left hand wall (although I'm not sure). I feel like graffiti is not a big thing in Sri Lanka. I don't have a feel for Taiwan, but what about Thailand

Seems like major rocky outcrops on the left. If it was Thailand, I'd be thinking of somewhere like Chiang Mai.

I thought that was a tall building! But then if it is a building it doesn't feel like a Japanese one. I think the left of the photo is in Myanmar or Sri Lanka and the right side of the photo is Kyushu, and they have been stitched together by the same nefarious force that inserted the campus library into the last one
