Heat stroke: Classic or dud?

So I'm still feeling the effects of rather vicious heat stroke suffered on Friday. I am still confused and headachy and stomach-achey and can't quite get my thoughts straight at all, which is resulting in some amusing posts. So is it really a bad thing? Assuming you don't get it so bad you die, is it kind of fun to be delirious and bitchy and have a perfectly good reason ("Sorry, it's the heat stress!")? Should heat stress/stroke become the new PMS?

ABSOLUTELY NOT, because then men couldn't use it as an excuse.

You know, when I was a kid, I had one pretty great heat-fainting experience. I was standing around doing some soccer drills, and my vision slowly lightened, pretty much as near-death experiences are described: a really pleasant fade to white. All other sensory perceptions faded at the same rate. And then I popped back to consciousness when I hit the ground.

Really, it was pretty cool.

Like men don't use PMS as an excuse already. You guys look for any out possible, hello.

After Ned's first meet-up with the London scene (on a Sunday) I, uh, had to take the next day off. I alleged that I'd had heatstroke and was greeted with immense amusement on the Tuesday. Everyone thought it was original at least. I've never actually had it.

It was rather a merry day then, that meet-up last year. *hic*

Is it true that once you get it you become more suspectible (sp)

The flipping Queen Mother had it! So it is exceedingly dud.
