tell me about oshkosh Wisconsin.

This is probably a long shot, but any oshkosh peoples that can tell me about the sights and history but mostly bars in your fine town? Seriously, mostly I want to know about bars.

there are "bars" on lake winnebago when it freezes over in the winter. plows clear lanes for cars to drive on the ice to them

Depending on the way you take in/out of town you could swing through Amherst, home of Central Waters.

oh son of a bitch, the weirdo free movie theater in oshkosh is playing the killer shrews from 1959 complete with some dude named Ned the Dead doing the old school tv creepshow thing the weekend before we get there

its kind of a college town, you'll likely have no problem

Ned the Dead is sort of a local celebrity. he's been doing this for like 15 years and he's pretty good at it.

however the grand opera house is giving away free ice cream on saturday morning and holy shit does it look cool

i think that if you cut over on hwy 10 on the way in/out, you could hit both Central Waters AND O'So. :)
