Mens slippers.

although I think womens slippers are *VERY* Rock n Roll.

gazza, Friday, 11 October 2002 06:58 (twenty-three years ago)

Women's slippers are only cool if they are stiletto heeled, pink and fluffy. Oh - and worn by Diana Dors.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 08:40 (twenty-three years ago)

BEFORE SHE DIED.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 08:40 (twenty-three years ago)

Someone gave me some 1940's movie star slippers that are pink, heeled, and FEATHERED. I don't wear them but they look fabulous with my old jogging pants.

Miss Laura, Friday, 11 October 2002 08:50 (twenty-three years ago)

Jogging pants? As in tracksuit?

Is Courtney Love your style icon?

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 08:51 (twenty-three years ago)

aww, i still have a wee soft spot for courtney. even in a tracksuit.

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 08:54 (twenty-three years ago)

Well, Courtney aside, Miss Laura is one lucky lady.

I just feel that the jogging pants may take way from the rrrrawr effect of the slipper. I would wear them with either nothing/a very small g-string. And drive my fella wild.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 09:05 (twenty-three years ago)

What about those big animal feet slippers with big claws and nothing/a very small g-string Lara?

gazza, Friday, 11 October 2002 09:06 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm not sure they would have the desired effect. I'm not sure even I could carry off she-vixen in novelty slippers.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 09:15 (twenty-three years ago)

Big poofy cartoon novelty slippers are extra-lame 'cause they're hard to walk in and look dumb.

I wish I could send you a picture of my slippers (slipper porn).

Jogging pants? As in tracksuit? No, like warm fuzzy ones.
Is Courtney Love your style icon?
Er, no...more like though I am by nature slobby & unstylish, underneath there is a glamourpuss yearning to break free. When I'm old, I'll be one of those women who wear silk kimonos and have jade cigarette holders and drink gin at breakfast and then throw the glass into the fire.

Miss Laura, Friday, 11 October 2002 09:41 (twenty-three years ago)

cool! i wanna be one of those too!

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 09:44 (twenty-three years ago)

If your fears become reality I think you will be the coolest old person EVER.

I already have a silk kimono (bought in Vietnam) and a mother-of-pearl cigarette holder (bought in The Cut in Waterloo). We could be friends. But only if you let me borrow your slippers from time to time.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:08 (twenty-three years ago)

-- g-kit , I thought you were gonna be a bitter old bastard and hit people with your walking stick? Could you do both?

Plinky (Plinky), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:10 (twenty-three years ago)

well, gee... i dunno. surely one could do both? heh. nah, i can really see myself being a bitter old bastard whether i like it or not. i'm getting all warped and twisted and shit already, so i don't have a chance. i guess i could do the gin thing of a morning too, so everyone's happy (or miserable, whatever).

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:14 (twenty-three years ago)

Lara, it's a done deal. We could share the young, nubile houseboy.

Miss Laura, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:15 (twenty-three years ago)

Nah, I'll be too busy with the pool boy to be bothered with the houseboy.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:17 (twenty-three years ago)

what qualifications does one need for either of those jobs?

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:19 (twenty-three years ago)

You don't need 'qualifications' exactly. Would you agree Laura?

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Young and nubile would be the main criteria, surely?

Plinky (Plinky), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Dumb as dirt may be an advantage.

Right. I'm off then to do something productive.*

*this is a lie. I will continue to waste time shamelessly.

Miss Laura, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:26 (twenty-three years ago)

I'm not sure what you're getting at Plinky? I mean the pool boy would just have to be equipped to keep my pool in order.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Laura - marry me?

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:28 (twenty-three years ago)

urrrrrr.... lost... track... of.... thread...

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:29 (twenty-three years ago)

Ahem....

"Lara, it's a done deal. We could share the young, nubile houseboy.
-- Miss Laura"

Plinky (Plinky), Friday, 11 October 2002 10:30 (twenty-three years ago)

I sadi I wanted no part in the sharing!!

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:31 (twenty-three years ago)

You will be dissapointed when you realize that the glitter is all a cheap and empty façade and in the end you'll be left with plain old beer-swilling, foul-mouthed, smirking me.

Miss Laura, Friday, 11 October 2002 10:37 (twenty-three years ago)

...wearing feathered slippers, right?

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 11:36 (twenty-three years ago)

whoa, nu-ILE reeks of lemon-flavored liqueur!

Tracer Hand (tracerhand), Friday, 11 October 2002 12:21 (twenty-three years ago)

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 11 October 2002 12:23 (twenty-three years ago)

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 12:29 (twenty-three years ago)

The motion can be put to effective good use alright.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 12:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Do you secretly want to be Val Doonican?

C J (C J), Friday, 11 October 2002 12:33 (twenty-three years ago)

No.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 12:35 (twenty-three years ago)

I was thinking more along the lines of Christine Keeler.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 12:39 (twenty-three years ago)

snoop dogg to thread

gareth (gareth), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:17 (twenty-three years ago)

I call them my "hood" slippers. They go well with my bathrobe. Yes, I am an old fart at 27. I've also taken to smoking pipes lately as well.

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:18 (twenty-three years ago)

Loving Chris V! I love the smell of a pipe.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 13:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Now if i could only find an ascot....

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:23 (twenty-three years ago)

You could come to visit Laura and I and we could smoke our cheroots and you your pipe. I promise only quality liquor.

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 13:32 (twenty-three years ago)

Brandy? Eww. Malt Liquor is fine with me.

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:43 (twenty-three years ago)

Freaky. I was thinking of writing brandy but didn't (as I think it's gack). Are we so some psychic link?

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 13:46 (twenty-three years ago)

could be. brandy is poo...i prefer a vodka gimlet.

Chris V. (Chris V), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:47 (twenty-three years ago)

Lara, Friday, 11 October 2002 13:50 (twenty-three years ago)

g-kit (g-kit), Friday, 11 October 2002 13:59 (twenty-three years ago)
