I've four days annual leave in November. Can't make a decision about what to do. Suggestions welcome?

Happy to stay in the UK but also happy to come up with a plan that takes us abroad.
Have thought about the UK - Dorset, maybe - but have also considered jumping on the Eurostar.
I'm in Oxfordshire but kept the initial question relatively vague because I'm intrigued about what others do with time off.

My favourite places for relatively short autumn / winter breaks are probably Vienna and Kraków. Both have Christmas markets starting towards the end of November. Vienna isn't cheap but it's reasonable. Having been to both for work already this year, I might be looking somewhere like Timisoara in Romania. Wroclaw and Tallinn are also very picturesque.
On Eurostar, Brussels with day trips to Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp, etc, maybe.
I have a few days coming up next week and am going to Chernobyl, so may not be the best person to ask, though.

pertinent question. often take off time without any real idea where to go. in fact have got some at the moment, but have been travelling a bit with work recently, so decided to stay at home and get down to some reading/writing that i've been intending to do for a while (a mistake - I should have gone away for at least some of it).
had a fantastic two night break down on Dartmoor earlier in the year - but it wouldn't be to everyone's taste: I enjoyed getting lost in the fog and pissing rain on the moor, and then hitting the pub. amazing repository of neolithic stone circles and avenues.
antwerp via eurostar is a good suggestion. lovely gothic cathedral, welcoming coffee shops, stewed steak and frites with hot gin and apple to wash it down.
last year had a great break in Buxton - again, walking over the peaks, though this time in slightly better weather (tho it did get dark, and I ended up clambering around a quarry where blasting was taking place).
was in barcelona a couple of weeks ago, and it was still very pleasant - outdoor eating at lunch and evening, a book market.
wd second Vienna - cobbled streets and cafes, lovely parks, the winter and summer palaces, some good museums and art galleries.

Tempted to go back to Lviv but it's a bit of a faff transport-wise.
Planning Treviso / Ljubljana with my other half but would definitely like to take a few days somewhere else to explore. Do Belgrade or Sofia have much going for them?

Trieste rather than Treviso.
