Crazy Stuff You've Done To Maintain an ILE/ILX/ILM Fix

I don't expect this thread to bloom much, but who knows.

At a point much earlier in life, a (now former) employer began to selectively block Internet sites, including ILX. So, naturally, before work I would log on at home and copy and paste humongous stretches of threads that had ballooned overnight and emailed them to myself at work, so I could feel connected to ILX even though these weren't real-time posts.

Would never do this now, but, man....

i think i registered a sock one of the times i was banned but i have repressed the memory

after waiting about 6 months i posted as a harmless personality-free sock to maintain the illusion of my absence
