Spinosaurus seemed to still be fairly obscure when I was a dinosaur obsessed child in the 90s so I have an irrational resentment of the fact that it is now one of the A-list dinosaurs

today i remembered that the first dinosaur i ever heard about was dimetrodon, thanks to a dinosaur card free in a packet of cereal. i haven't thought about dimetrodon in a long time though.
