It’s a comedy by Mark Duplass and Jay Duplass. I think it’s fantastic. It’s my favorite show since Enlightened. Is anybody else enjoying it? It seems like it’s received no attention.

the lynskey/duplass bedroom scene in the last ep was prob the best thing hbo has aired since the girls one man's trash ep

all 4 leads are really well written, like it took all of ~3 eps to know exactly who they are as people m/l, and theyre reasonably complex, not just caricatures

"bedroom scene in last ep" means the Houston we have a problem ep, don't want future generations to think I meant the bondage ep

The (attempted) sex scenes are great. The rest is decently executed old hat.

Peet/Zissis and Duplass/Lynskey basically each starring in seperate Duplass movies at this point tbh, nothing as challenging as the best of Enlightened. feels more on par w/ FX's Married.

Has anybody seen Room 104? Worth watching?

not I but this concept is identical to Lynch and Gifford's "Hotel Room", no?

I never saw that one either but yeah from the elevator pitch it sure sounds like it

Kind of amazing that show isn't on DVD or streaming anywhere. Critics excoriated it, but no harder than other Lynch projects that have since been reappraised. There's an ep with Harry Dean Stanton which I'd love to see.
