England FTW? Ireland able this year? Scotland to surprise? France to actually turn up? Italy to avoid wooden spoon?

I'm backing Ireland not only out of blind patriotism but also because I think they could have it on them this year.

IN JOE WE TRUST. I havent been too impressed with Ireland last week or that first half performance either tbh but hopefully they'll step it up a gear in the second half.

yeah its must be the first time. panel was a mix of O'Gara stating "hey we beat France, not an easy feat regardless" and Hook's usual (justified in fairness) reticence over praising Ireland's performance. not a lot of try scoring opportunites.

The Wales Scotland match was a bit disappointing given disallowed try. Hopefully means that when we play Scots they'll still be deflated.

O'Gara's checked suit was playing merry hell with TV. I think he's a good analyst. Hook probably wise to hold back as we've still England which will be really tough.

It's obvious this England team has moved on and developed over the past two years.

The style of rugby is significantly different, and it's becoming very hard to play against.

Even for England rugby it's hilarious. From the usual here we go shite to their worst ever defeat against Ireland at home, an absolute shoeing by Scotland which tbf is a regular occurrence away, and their first ever loss to Italy. Wales have their issues but they're improving, England prob lucky they played then first. This 6N is a bit mad but a raging France away next weekend isn't the soothing balm I'd want if I was English.

In a weird way, I would actually like England to lose a game at some point, because what you don't want is their first loss coming in a World Cup knockout match.
