I've never used it for gaming and its not a smart tv either so wouldn't know, just for viewing.

Hi Michael!
They just might work. I tried them on & poked the end of the kitchen knife into them pretty hard & it didn't go through. Probably not a smart move, but wanted to try & help. Hope I did!! Ouse them for the fireplace & oven as I always burn my arms. Marcie & Munchkin
