season 4 (briscoe, logan, van buren, stone, kincaid, schiff)

my general rule of thumb is anything l&o must have briscoe and mccoy. the rest of the cast doesnt make much difference as long as those two are included

push comes to shove, i can deal without mccoy, but lenny is an absolute deal breaker

I mostly saw Branch episodes when I was watching L&Os and I enjoyed his folksiness. I have to have watched way more episodes of SVU overall though, bc Munch and Tutuola are all I really care about.

it is a crime that L&O isn't available via any kind of streaming service. up until a couple years ago you couldn't even buy them on dvd either

L&O is kind of like SNL, in that it could probably justify having its own subscription based streaming app for smartTV, Roku, etc. Someone needs to get on that.

i wouldn't be surprised if they pulled out of streaming to keep from undercutting their syndication value

it's kinda amazing that when moriarty left it was kind of a big deal. then by the time hennessy left it was like 'ok, this is l&o's thing, everybody's expendable'. a shame it's not on netflix anymore but it does kinda feel the optimal way of catching them is in some odd hour in the afternoon or late at night somewhere on basic cable.
