I can never think of anything I want. I have a birthday next month too, so I shall have to think of two lots of presents I would like. I must be very contented with my lot, or very undemanding, or perhaps just lacking in the necessary materialism, I dunno.BR>
I would quite like the new Badly Drawn Boy CD when it's released next month. And a bunch of flowers would be nice.

I am much better at giving gifts than receiving them. I thoroughly enjoy trying to find something relevant and unusual for people, and derive immense joy from seeing their excitement on unwrapping said present. I started sourcing Christmas presents for friends and family about three weeks ago (I make some presents y'see, so it all takes a bit of time)

my entire family to act like they're enjoying it if it kills us all. this encompasses family tree selection and decoration and weekend baking. i also want to see my cousins, but we're not visiting that side of the family this year, alas.

materially, i want the book of russian fantasy art that's in the metropolitan museum of art catalogue (but it's $65 so yeah right), the piano recording of pictures at an exhibition, and basically anything that's in a big package. i don't care if it's a crap present as long as it's nicely wrapped (i hate getting money for any occasion).

i started getting excited about this christmas last january.
