TV show theme music mystery thread, rolling

Channel 4 "Night Bus" just finished, but the theme music was bugging me. I actually recognised the music but it was a version I've not heard before, and I wonder if its a cover, a remix, or some cribbed bit of melody that we're not supposed to recognise..
