The basic trick was this:
One would act as psychic and the otehr as mediator. The mediator would ask a random person to name any town or city (lets say Manchester). The psychic would not have heard this. The mediator would then name towns to the psychic, deliberately not the one mentioned by the audience member i.e Aberdeen, Blackpool etc. The psychic would answer "no" to each incorrect one, and when the mediator sais "Manchester" he would answer "yes".
It worked every time no matter what town was mentioned, and there were several variations (pointing to items on the table etc).
There seemed to be no pattern in how many false answers were suggested before the real one, no communication whatsoever.
