The only thing I really remember about this film is that its uk release was the same week that a man deliberately crashed a plane, and the whole theatre got really tense in the 1st 10 minutes

Well, then I'm voting for Bombita. Perhaps not best story as a whole, but the scene with this song is best scene:

It's the theme from a tv-show called 'La Salud de Nuestros Hijos', which, correct me if I'm wrong, means 'The Health of Our Kids'. Perfect song choice.

It's very slick. It's a cool film, but that it got into competition at Cannes, while Jauja had to be in Un Certain Regard, is kinda a travesty, and says a lot about what's wrong with art-house today.
