Ira Einhorn and the murder for which he has been convicted have, indeed, caused quite a stir in the media. I would gather from your posting that you favor the death penalty for Mr. Einhorn. He received the mandatory "life" sentence. However, had he gotten the death penalty, the required appeals would take a dozen (or more) years to play out...because Mr. Einhorn is 62 now, either sentence amounts to about the same thing. Since a "hippie" advocated "love not war", I don't think Einhorn qualifies for the role.
