If you like classic cartoon slapstick you really need to see this

Basically unknown outside the French-speaking world afaik, and meaning "Stupid Rabbits", it's about, well, a bunch of stupid rabbits

Super-inventive, vaudeville to the core, and formally daring with just how far they can stretch out a single visual gag, the show is simply incredible, and easy to get for non-French speakers as the rabbits basically speak gibberish

Basically if you sucked all the anarchy, greed, glee and boneheaded bloody-mindedness out of them you'd get the minions

This is referenced in Bon Voyage Charlie Brown! Snoopy and Woodstock watch it or something like it on the plane to France

I wasn't aware there was a cartoon. I only knew them from the Nintendo Wii games which are great. They are know as Raving Rabbids in English. Will check it out!

They are MASSIVE in France. there's a whole series of hardback bandes-dessinés which have a Mad Magazine vibe to them, single jokes that play out over a page, pages you have to turn sideways to get, etc
