I am still fascinated by Paul Ryan specifically calling out Trump's carping about that unfair "Mexican" judge (from Indiana) as 'a textbook example of a racist statement' while simultaneously saying 'I support Trump'. This fact needs to survive the 24-hour news cycle and grow wings.

i think the reason this thread doesn't work is bc we already have a 2016 politics thread and what we needed was a new 2016 *election* thread
― Mordy, Thursday, 9 June 2016 14:54 (eight years ago) link
so where would this go?

@newtgingrichLondon Has Fallen is an action packed movie which also is a sobering warning about the potential escalation of Islamic Supremacists efforts

@newtgingrichThe Muppet Movie is a fun packed musical which is also a sobering warning about the potential escalation of drumming Muppets when fed magical growth pills

that is what that thread is for. I guess qualmsley just wanted to use the BLM intruders meme in a thread title.
― Οὖτις, Thursday, 9 June 2016 16:52 (eight years ago) link
there has never been any indication that that thread is for that
― we can be heroes just for about 3.6 seconds (Dr Morbius), Thursday, 9 June 2016 16:55 (eight years ago) link
well I guess I don't know what either thread is for then

Maybe Mods should close this thread, and we go back to the other one for US Congressional politics and statehouse politics
― curmudgeon, Thursday, 9 June 2016 17:28 (eight years ago) link
