these days i honestly think it's peppermint patty: lots of outsized energy, stepping on toes and meaning well, sometimes not noticing that the marcie in front of me really loves me.

It's weirdly reflective of where I'm at in life that this is maybe the first time as an adult that I wouldn't automatically answer Charlie Brown but without that as the default option I have no idea who the hell I'd be.

For a brief time in my late teens, I tried to convince people to call me "5". Spelled "V".

For the last 2 1/2 years I've listened to more Beethoven than anything else, so Schroeder. (I was so thrilled to watch part of "Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!" last year and be able to go "Aha! 'Waldstein' sonata!")

i've been following various peanuts fb groups for reposts of strips in my timeline. there's a group called "we love snoopy" where hundreds of people post baby talk comments about how much they love snoopy. very strange and funny "adult fans of teletubbies" energy.

One of Shulz's many regrets was that Pig Pen was a one joke character like Charlotte Braunn. But he kept Pig Pen unlike the latter. He could of expanded Pig Pen's character at any time!
