Look at Little Miss Discerning-Listener-Pants! (Momus is not on it, if that's what you mean.)

I meant to email you, Jel, and ask that the title on my track read "Dibs on the Wallflower (DEMO)." Since, you know, that track is all compressed and corrupted and I've got a much better singer coming along to record the "real" version, so when that becomes an international smash hit everyone will be paying thousands of dollars for dubs of the ILX comp since it clearly says on the tin that this is a special early unavailable-elsewhere demo version.

My Focus Group suggestion wasn't really a serious one. The idea of Jel going to all this trouble and being so kind as to pull together and distribute these, and then all of us sitting around and giving him 3/10 is just too churlish for words.

The FAP to hand them out is a good thing, just to save Jel packaging and posting several - and why couldn't Jel send a bundle to someone in other centres like New York, Dunedin, etc., and they could have a FAP there for distributing them? Sounds like a plan without downside and with lots of benefits and savings. Also, any excuse for a FAP, obv.

Yeah, that is a good idea. I'm sure you could send bulk to those of us in the Toronto area as well. It should work even if some people can't make it out to a FAP, because we could always forward a few out in the local mail. That should be way cheaper than sending them individually overseas.

(If there's a launch party / distribution FAP pleasepleaseplease can the date be sorted a week or more in advance? Then I might be able to be there. Of course if you don't want me there then this isn't necessary but I might not be the only person who'd find it helpful so you could do so anyway and email me telling me not to be there. I might well not be able to anyway, sigh.)

(I feel like it's time for one of my now rare trips out of the house, I was tempted to spend the fifty quid it costs to go anywhere on a gig tonight, but then I remembered that everyone there including the bands probably hates me and I decided to stay in and listen to Wolves of Greece on the radio instead because I loved Bob Tilton but hadn't heard the Wolves yet, but they were a bit disappointing. Or maybe that's just because they were very quiet because the volume knob on my hi-fi's broken.)
