anyone have any more info on this movie from Slacker director? Looks like it's going to be easy on the eyes.

Don't have the appropriate tools to view that trailer, but I've heard fantastic things about this. I can't think of any other situation in which someone's Rotoscoped live action but added anti-naturalistic elements as well -- and the fact that Linklater is making such a huge jump from his usual material seems like a good sign as well.

Oh, I wish you could see it. It's coming out in October so the commercials should be on TV soon. It looks amazingly beautiful and disorienting. I'm hoping the entire movie is done this way and not just little parts of it.

four months pass...
I saw this film almost a month and a half ago. It was good, though the background moving all the time was a bit annoying around the end of the movie. I thought it would make me seasick, but thankfully it didn't. It was a good movie "discussion-wise". Lots of intricate thoughts and things of that sort. Made one think a lot. The style of the production (with the surreal impressionistic style) was really interesting. It is strange how well you can tell these people's emotions just by shapes and colors. It was easy on the eyes, a little too much information being thrown at you at once. Almost overbearing, but worth watching. I would recommend this, though I haven't seen Slacker. Hope this helped, heh, though by this time you probably have seen it already.
