There was a kerfuffle at last year's Toronto Pride when Black Lives Matter protested the presence of uniformed police officers in the parade. This year, police uniforms were banned if cops wanted to participate.
Quite a change from the last time that I attended Toronto Pride ('08? '09?) when representatives of the big Canadian banks were on hand to offer temporary tattoos.
(Yes, I'm sure that shit like that still goes on, but these are encouraging developments.)

v dadly gent and I had been chatting on Scruff for like a week and I was chatting w/ him one night and he joked abt bringing me cookies the next morning on his morning drive, and I was like "psh you better" and he was like "what's your address, i'll be there at 7"

As you may know I do a homo techno disco sans frontiers with my friend Simon and I discreetly shot some footage of it on my phone (we generally don't let people film or photograph inside, taking Berghain as a model for that).
