There is a mystery, yea two riddles, which no man, from the western sea to the eastern, can solve to any man's satisfaction, lest he be a dolt or dullard

How does a fucking Ouija board work.
How can autocorrect possibly be so bad.

Why, what did it change to "Ouija" ?

the answer to both questions is supernatural intervention iirc

I assume most people can answer the second question reasonably accurately, and my inability to find ANYONE who can explain it to me is just bad luck combined with an anemic social life.

The first question just fascinates the hell out of me. Run it thru Google and you'll get answers so preposterous that I'd much sooner accept the theory that I'm talking to the the third cousin twice removed of Oliver Cromell, or perhaps beloved former host of Family Feud and unfortunate suicide Ray Combs.

Would anyone deign to school me on autocorrect?

And does anyone buy that ideomotor bullshit?

What, Mark? That is correct spelling, no?

autocorrect on cell phones is awful because it will always assume you wanted to put an apostrophe in there somewhere.

(the idea being you typed something else, but autocorrect suggest/changed it to Ouija. That.)

My autocorrect is also in the annoying habit of splitting what it perceives to be two words into two words with a space in it. e.g. Brexit becomes Bre it.

Mine will take a word like "As" and change it to "Au". I mean what the fuck. When I'm 2 letters into spelling "dog" suggest doxology and dolphinesque and Dorian Grey.

HOW DOES A OUIJA BOARD WORK? If you play it with a friend whom you can trust 100% will not purposely move the planchette, and neither do you, the Ouija will still answer questions. Like how, though, is basically what I'm asking.
