X Factor (UK) 2017 - is there anyone out there?

Starts 8pm tonight, ITV1. This year it's going to be semi-back-to-basics. No 'random' (*ahem*) jukebox, classic judge crew, but still that awful Six Chair Challenge. Hopefully no more gimmick acts. Yeah we'll see how long that one lasts.

Oh and I said 'back to basics' at the start of last year's thread as well, and look how well that turned out.

Wow did this series fall off hard. I'm literally the only person to post on this thread for XF 2017. I couldn't even be bothered for XF 2018. And the BBC News website can't even be bothered to load images in that article.

I always thought they should do the equivalent of a Drag Race All-Stars season and bring back nearly-winners or people that were bumped unjustly early. That could have been really good.
