I feel like this must have been done, or is present in threads like “signs youve been on ilx too long” or whatever, but feel free to add the stuff that almost always works for you that is from here- or that you bring to irl and can’t succinctly explain there.

I did look for uh, tropes but mine is “Well, yeah” from that Eagles thread. Thats where i got that, right? Citations are a plus.

yeah there's more to the story. see, the original story is that Gear running into the room and making an exclamation of disgust ended proceedings, but this was a cover-up to protect the innocent. Trucker Hat Vance and the roommate were going at it, when she realized that the sex she thought they were having was Vance jackhammering the couch cushions while yelling out the name of the model number and brand name.

I think I posted this on the Ornaldo Bloomps thread, but a while ago I was chatting with my housemates and one of them mentioned Orlando Bloom in passing, and it was as if they'd told the funniest joke of all time. I started giggling just at the name, and then I started laughing harder when I realized that the mere existence of Orlando Bloom was that funny to me, and then it turned into one of those laughing fits that you can't stop and I ended up having to leave the room.
