I watched the first 8 episodes of the new duck tales after watching every episode of the first series and...
the new personalities were a major bummer. the show was more bleak in general. they even gave gyro an elitist personality.

i chatted w/ don rosa at comic-con a few years ago. awesome guy as you'd expect. he had a hilarious riff about his dislike for mickey mouse. he also had a big sign on his desk saying something like "do NOT ask me about ducktales."
