I searched the archive and there was not much. I've been reading some of his books lately and find them quite entertaining. But maybe I shouldn't? Or is that just my latent american puritanism getting riled up?

Its a gd gag - turning the right-wing Skinhead novs of Richard Allen into anarcho/situationist bonkbusters -but you prob. only need to read one of 'em.

hehe- I did his book abt situationism (i think he mostly edits it) in canada. i saw it and thought: ''pick this up in london as i don't want to get involved in this now''. but i haven't seen it.

Yeah, Home's punk "history" (Cranked Up Too High) is one of the most strangest rockwrite books I've ever read. He spends about two chapters dissing every other book written about punk rock because he says the subject doesn't deserve to have a book written about it, then proceeds to fill the rest of the chapters with quotes from absolutely terrible punk lyrics. He complains about the Situationist link but his own theory of punk evolution (based on film theory?) is even more bizarre.
