i'm afraid some of these are cursed

Computerized morphing of facial imagery has been around for a couple of decades now, so this doesn't seem to me like a quantum leap ahead. These are just amalgams based on many thousands of training images, instead of amalgams based directly on blending just two facial images. And luckily there are still plenty of artifacts in these manufactured-face photos that can tip you off to their computerized origin.

yeah once you zoom in on these they start to get really weird

I attended a conference where they discussed this sort of thing at length - it really is just discrete math. A lot of it. Its cool that a computer can identify a breed of dog, but you need literally millions of images of dogs before it gets close. still very cool though.

I too sport a waxed jacket with a severed pig's ear as a collar and wear my last victim's scalp on my head.

Still doesn't handle hats or adjacent faces well at all, but felt like it took longer than it used to get to what felt like a truly cursed image. Getting better?
