As a member of @DSASocMaj, I don't think that Doug Henwood piece on DSA reflects our caucus accurately at all. We have a program and a long-term strategy that was drafted, amended and ratified by hundreds of members, and you can read it: https://t.co/g6467fl7lF— Militant Carebear 🌻🌹 (@PubicDefender) May 16, 2019

So I don't understand that refutation tweet. This isn't a criticism per se of the carebear but to an outsider observer "this doesn't accurately represent us" isn't helpful. Its vague and there's no indication of what is wrong in the original piece.
Maybe this is more an issue with twitter or just discourse in general. Or it can be the readers fault, maybe its more obvious to someone more connected

I am sure any such profile would not meet with unanimous approval
full disclosure: I joined last year and haven't attended any events or meetings

Yes, there's no reason to expect, or even want, that. And totally fine if carebear has issues with the profile, the problem is he doesn't say what those issues are

Mr.Carebear, answer the question!

@DougHenwood on the DSA is as good as everyone says. Two minor points of disagreement. 1) re. a cult of personality around Sanders, if anything there is the opposite: probably excessive rather than insufficient skepticism of Sanders among DSAers. 43% of Americans support some form of socialism, more than when the question was last asked in…1942 https://t.co/kbOhP5xizF— Doug Henwood (@DougHenwood) May 20, 2019

I would venture to guess that what "socialism" is thought to describe has changed since 1942.
