The warnings to the White House, which have not been previously reported, led national security adviser Robert O’Brien to caution Trump in a private conversation that any information Giuliani brought back from Ukraine should be considered contaminated by Russia, one of the former officials said.

The message was, “Do what you want to do, but your friend Rudy has been worked by Russian assets in Ukraine,” this person said. Officials wanted “to protect the president from coming out and saying something stupid,” particularly since he was facing impeachment over his own efforts to strong-arm Ukraine’s president into investigating the Bidens.

But O’Brien emerged from the meeting uncertain whether he had gotten through to the president. Trump had “shrugged his shoulders” at O’Brien’s warning, the former official said, and dismissed concern about his lawyer’s activities by saying, “That’s Rudy.”

My wife saw Giuliani speak at least 10 years ago at an industry/organization luncheon. It was your pretty typical speech until he started talking about how he "solved" the NY homeless problem. He went on to brag without any self-awareness of how they would tell a homeless person to move on and if they came back the next night and the homeless person was still there they would light all of the homeless person's belongings on fire. My wife said the luncheon pretty much went silent with everyone kind of looking uncomfortably at each other.

It's almost amazing when you think about how much unearned goodwill he had thrown at him after 9/11 and just how thoroughly and completely he's wasted every single ounce of it.

A judge was forced to put a ranting Rudy Giuliani on mute during a virtual hearing in his Manhattan sexual assault and harassment case on Wednesday after he launched personal attacks against his accuser, Noelle Dunphy.

More than an hour into the hearing, when Giuliani was allowed to speak, the embattled former New York City mayor and Donald Trump lawyer lobbed a series of unfounded allegations against Dunphy — accusing her of being “a professional extortionist” and being barred from hotels.

“Your honor, this is outrageous,” Dunphy’s lawyer, Justin Kelton, said.

State Supreme Court Justice Nicholas Moyne yelled at Giuliani multiple times, asking him to stop talking. Finally, he put him on mute.
