Which one was the last one? Is this new one the 9th one? I'm pretty comfortable being done. I don't think my wife has even seen the original trilogy, and my kids don't give a poop.

Whenever I see this thread (and the show title) my first reaction is always that it's an announcement for a Star Wars themed casino/resort. Which ... give it time, I guess.

Imagine that : a Star Wars tv series that seems more attuned to what made the original films work than the current SW films do.

Lots of proper old school SW moments and feels in this final one. Even the music improved!

Music seemed very low in the mix in some of the battle scenes.

we've rewatched this scene twice already. Also love "Bad baby! No squeezy!"

OK but kinda strange finale. Why have the Darksaber be destroyed so easily? And if he can do that he can survive the inferno but a final scene with the other Imperial strays including Kane reacting to news of his demise would've kept some intrigue going into next season or other tie-ins.

Good stuff indeed, nicely sets up whatever happens next (be it the Filoni crossover film or a season 4 of random shenanigans).

Enjoyed the finale, found it quite exciting

Din Djarin had some John Wick feeling moves. Gideon talking about trinkets from within an ironman suit. Seemed to take too much time for Gideon to find them given he had dots on a map.

The finale was lots of fun with some great original trilogy vibes at a few points.

Caught up finally. Would be pretty happy honestly if that was the end of the show, everything feels pretty wrapped up, but I know that Disney probably won't let a massively successful show like this die gracefully. Rumor has it the Rangers of the New Republic stuff will be repurposed here - it looks like they already started with all the Coruscant stuff, Carson Teva, etc.

So it actually is called The Mandalorian and Grogu? And it's a feature film? On the one hand it's great that they got to the point, but on the other and it's very basic. The trailer has the whiff of AI. It has things happening, but nothing happens.

Imagine if it was called A Star Wars Story: Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu: Episode Four: Grogu and The Mandalorian: The Mandalorian. They could probably extend it so that the title fills the entire opening crawl.

Yeah this trailer didn’t excite me at all. Very much the goofy Grogu show and not showing me any action set pieces I haven’t seen before. I mean, I’ve seen a lot of AT-AT’s fall down before. Just because this one’s on a cliff doesn’t really juice it up.

Imagine if Grogu uses his force powers to mentally enslave a burly guy, so that they end up like Master-Blaster from Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, with Grogu riding on his back like a human Tauntaun.

It would be The Adventures of Grogu Adultman. In the final scenes Blaster will sustain a mortal injury, and Grogu will comfort him by brushing him with a brush and saying "you're a good horsey".

And then in the post-credits scene Werner Herzog will do something funny.

No, post-credits will flash forward 500 years to full-grown Grogu visiting the Mandalorian's grave and then turning on his Sith lightsaber.

I can't convince my wife to watch Andor because I lost all credibility with my early excitement for this show.
