apparently this place had a following in NYC though i've never heard of it in my life.

my basic question, not knowing the size of the restaurant or how many covers they could do, is how did a place that was only open for 5 hours a day 5 days a week have all of these ingredients available and fresh?

this menu is very hard to read so I gave up on reading the whole thing and just let my eyes dart around looking for delicious and/or ridiculous combos, and after a while of darting, my considered but not comprehensive choice is:

"zesty" bread and breakfast name plate: "3 bbq duck & egg sliders on mac'n cheese cakes"

tbh I barely knew what these words meant but I guess this is a picture and oh boy, that's a heart attack on a plate. yes, I'll take it, thank you.

I recently ordered a side of silver dollar pancakes because I don't need to be eating an entire goddamn plate of full-size pancakes but then they turned out to be an entire goddamn plate of full-size pancakes (their full-size pancakes, as I learned, actually exceeded the circumference of the plate to kind of a ridiculous degree).

I just watched the NYT video on how they make the mac n cheese pancakes and it is totally a lot simpler than I would've thought. Pour the pancake, toss on some cooked macaroni, toss in some cheddar, wait and flip.

i remember getting a club, bread pudding french toast and i think blisters on my sisters. as i recall, it was all good but also all very much a gut bomb. Not light eating and huge portions!
