gareth (gareth), Saturday, 9 November 2002 15:33 (twenty-three years ago)

Nope. (score 1 for the useless post brigade)

Andrew (enneff), Saturday, 9 November 2002 15:34 (twenty-three years ago)

I felt it.

One of the most thrilling games in City's recent history and I'm running around town with flyers and checking equipment's working correctly for tonight's do. So I get to see virtually none of the match, apart from a few minutes when I managed to sneak into a crowded pub to check progress, craning over a mass of heads, and hearing the last 20 minutes on Wonderful Radio 5 on the way home. So I'll just have to tape MOTD for posterity.

Haha Fergie just interviewed on TV, he looked sick. Really really wound up.

Ronan (Ronan), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:10 (twenty-three years ago)

bob zemko (bob), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:25 (twenty-three years ago)

I don't understand. Would this be like the Mets beating the Yankees or something?

kate, Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:25 (twenty-three years ago)

crikey david connolly's aflame!

bob zemko (bob), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:26 (twenty-three years ago)

bob zemko (bob), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:27 (twenty-three years ago)

Speaking of which I might be up to Manchester in a couple of times so if the MancMob F-A-P (no lezzing up, please) I'd be up for that (although I wd be staying in the Fulwood manor so nothing late nite for me)!

Man City = perennial underdogs to the BIG MONSTER MEGALITH of Man U. City beating united is a beautiful act of wonder and joy. God knows if it's like the Mets beating the Yankees though. Is that baseball or AMerican football? SPEAKING OF WHICH I wonder how the MetroSTARS are doing, I haf failed to keep up with them like a SPA.

Sara(h), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:30 (twenty-three years ago)

ahem, *weeks time*

Sara(h), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:34 (twenty-three years ago)

Sarah, this is a side of you I've never seen before. I like it.

FAP in 2 weeks, maybe. I might be on an exchange visit to London though, for a "Viking" night (= out with my Swedish mate).

Tag, Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:49 (twenty-three years ago)

Er what do you mean by that Tag-wah?!

Not sure of exact date yet but I'll let yer know. I haven't been to Manchester for yonks. Put it this way, in my head, Picadilly Gardens is still extant and I've been told it's long gone. SOB!! Do you have JJ/Rach's email? If I'm up I'd like to see them as well!

Sara(h), Saturday, 9 November 2002 16:55 (twenty-three years ago)

FEED THE GOAT, AND HE'LL SCORE!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 9 November 2002 17:27 (twenty-three years ago)

good and unexpected result.

Julio Desouza (jdesouza), Saturday, 9 November 2002 18:03 (twenty-three years ago)

saw the second half, Man city thoroughly deserved it too, they were running Blanc ragged, which filled me with no little pleasure.

chris (chris), Saturday, 9 November 2002 19:09 (twenty-three years ago)

"shaun goater = the rubbest great player ever"

No. The greatest rub player ever.

weasel diesel (K1l14n), Saturday, 9 November 2002 20:55 (twenty-three years ago)

Kate, it's sort of like the Mets beating the Yankees in terms of traditional probabilities and relative strengths, but in a proper sport.

Martin Skidmore (Martin Skidmore), Saturday, 9 November 2002 22:39 (twenty-three years ago)

one year passes...
man u. every time.

adam. (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 19:50 (twenty-one years ago)

adam all you are doing is going onto threads and posting very short answers and some of them are WRONG like this one

Begs2Differ (Begs2Differ), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 20:07 (twenty-one years ago)

Which others are wrong? What is wrong with being short?

adam. (nordicskilla), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 20:10 (twenty-one years ago)

United all the way. Too many years rooting for them over Arsenal to say any differently. I like them more now they don't seem so invincible.

Also Man City's 4-3 defeat of Spurs in the FA Cup last season STILL HURTS!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 20:16 (twenty-one years ago)

let it burn
let it burn
let it buuuurrrrnnn

Begs2Differ (Begs2Differ), Tuesday, 14 September 2004 21:00 (twenty-one years ago)
