So...what should I do tonight?

Please help me decide what to do tonight. I was going to Art-o-matic to see Instrument, that documentary about Fugazi, but then decided I wasn't in the mood to cope with true believers. Therefore, I am now considering seeing:

1) My Big Fat Greek Wedding. No one I know has admitted to seeing this.
2) Sweet Home Alabama. Some reviewers I respect have nice things to say about this movie.
3) Jackass: The Movie. Likewise, some reviewers I respect have nice, if heavily qualified, things to say about this movie.

Much obliged if you could make your recommendations by 7:30 pm EST.

Haven't seen any of them (and don't really have an impulse to either), but the Idiot Male in me -- arguably all of me -- would suggest Jackass. It may be the most popular documentary this year!

My Big Fat Greek Wedding is quite charming and funny. Plus it has Joey Fatone.

what is Sweet Home Alabama meant to be about?

I think I would consider reading a book over any of those films, although if I had to choose one of them it would be "My Big Fat GrSSk Wedding".

e) None of the above, I suspect. Though obviously you don't get football (i.e. football, not that American game) highlights on a Saturday night, so going out may hold more appeal.

Thank you all for your suggestions. Since I need to laugh, and my inner juvenile delinquent has been restless, I think it's going to be Jackass.

When in doubt, always go for what shares its title with a Lynyrd Skynyrd song.

You think J.Lu should have spent the evening freeing birds?

Sweet Home Alabama is about a fashion designer in the big city who is about to marry the mayors son. But first she has to return to Alabamy to finalise divorce papers with her high school sweetheart in, and begins to fall for him, and for the down-home pleasures she's left behind. I believe it was officially green-lighted by Satan. And by all accounts, directed and written by Satan's idiot sons.

I does have a lot of civil war reenactment, so it may be the movie for you, DV.
