does it work? or is it just a way to make fools of health nuts by convincing them that drinking mulched grass is good for them?

if you have Celiac Sprue disease (a relatively common genetic autoimmune disease involving digestive system intolerance of wheat, barley & rye ...causing intestinal damage which results in malabsorption of nutrients from food) and drink wheatgrass juice (or even beer) you may be severely damaging your health.

health fads don't make much sense - your local produce department (mostly) does. a fruit tree's even better.

some people theorize that our systems primarily developed on a 'paleo' diet - hunter/gatherer etc

I have heard testimonials that it is good for allergy suffers. I haven't done a shot yet.
