I saw him at quite a few games when I was an away game ultra-fan of Huddersfield Town during their 4th great decline. The word got around the supporters club coach that although he might sign the odd autograph or exchange the odd pleasantry with a few starstruck simpletons, there was a cut off point and he would quite bluntly tell people to Fuck Off (without any quoteworthy flourishes) if they got in his space too much while he was trying to watch the game, especially very stupid drunk hooligans!
