this is the last day my wee son has to spend trapped in his plaster cast.
tomorrow we go to the childrens hopsital and they remove the hated thing for good!
i am excited :-)
this means he will finally be able to learn to move about, roll, crawl, walk and do all the 'normal' things babies do at 8 months of age.
he has such a lovely spirit, always happy ( well, almost ) and has made it through 3 months of immobility with style!
i am proud of him, and cant wait for him to find out he can MOVE! hahaha

so.......tell me good things :-)
what do you celebrate today?

donna (donna), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 03:00 (twenty-three years ago)

this weekend I move into my new apartment!

Mr Noodles (Mr Noodles), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 03:07 (twenty-three years ago)

LA smells really great tonight--sage, jasmine, eucalyptus. I went for a walk in the hills above Pasadena and it was so clear you could see all the airplanes lining up for LAX and Burbank. I love it after it rains here. Too bad it only happens twice a year these days.

And Donna--hooray!

Arthur (Arthur), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 03:23 (twenty-three years ago)

On the minus side, my office net nanny software is denying me access to post on the 'style labs' thread but on the plus side, having arrived early at work I should be able to go home at 4pm, yippee! And even work is quite good fun at the moment. The weather's rather dull but I've just moved into a new flat, the first time I've got a place of my own! And it's my birthday soon!
All the best to New Mobile Babies the world over, yeay!

Gordon (Gordon), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 09:28 (twenty-three years ago)

DG (D_To_The_G), Tuesday, 12 November 2002 10:41 (twenty-three years ago)

I went to the bookies the other day with a mate. Didn't get a chance to check the odds too far beforehand, so we were doing it blind, apart from a read of Newsboy in the Mirror in the car over. Anyways, get their, check the form, and pick a 2/5 odds on favourite in the first race. He falls at the penultimate fence. I'm a tenner down. So... never mind, claw some easy cash back with another tenner on a 8/13 horse. The horse is never in it and comes in forth. So I'm £20 down. Panic stations. Go to the cash point, take out £40 I can't afford. Spy a little horse called All Night Thing, in the favoured box for the course, good Irish flat form. £5 e/w. As the race starts... he does fuck all. He's second from last, just ahead of some bloody mule they took off Blackpool pleasure beach. I go to throw my ticket away, when, all of a sudden, last furlong, All Night Thing comes fucking blitzing into screen from nowhere to come first. £58 for me, and I can now pay the phonebill this week. Nice.
