OMG, you can add salt and pepper to a thing for flavour??

The Easy/Breezy/Piece of Cake scale is kind of useless for determining how easy something is.

Honestly not sure I believe it’s easy to fit 15 different foods, not counting optional salt and pepper, on to one platter. And that’s leaving aside the question of where the fuck mini iced cinnamon buns come from

I grew up in a family that had serious raspberry patches, enough to feed us an all of our neighbors. I ate so many raspberries as a child that I grew sick of them. Now I am grateful to my parents for understanding those things

I like boiled eggs, cooked just enough so the yolks are firm without getting gray around the edges. I can eat them whole, halved or sliced up on egg and olive sandwiches with mayonnaise

I can't serve them by themselves as an appetizer to guests

I went for 'orange wedge' because I can eat that - but those are clearly slices and not wedges.

Cinnamon buns are the most exciting thing on the platter. They'd be my first selection if I came across this platter.

Sure I can’t disagree really but where do you get them if you’re going to make the platter? It’s a lot of work to make cinnamon buns and if you’re going to do that why make mini ones?

in fact i remember spreads that were very similar to this whenever i visited my dad's parents, except:

grapes in stead of raspberries
black olives from a can instead of cinnamon buns
lil smokies instead of breakfast sausage patties
