ok, I think I can handle this one whilst waking up - 1. Close Up toothpaste 2. Secret deodorant (cuz it's made for a woman etc etc) 3. Frost shower gel from the Body Shop (it was on sale)

Kim (Kim), Thursday, 14 November 2002 12:00 (twenty-three years ago)

1. Colgate Total 2. Dove deodorant 3. Johnson's baby soap

(Actually shampoo interests me more because life is, for many with problem hair, a neverending search for good shampoo. I suspect it's all a con though and if I had only ever washed mine in spring water it would not be problem hair at all.)

Archel (Archel), Thursday, 14 November 2002 12:43 (twenty-three years ago)

rener (rener), Thursday, 14 November 2002 16:39 (twenty-three years ago)

1. theramed!!!!

2. Herbal Essences

3. I don't know what brand it is, I don't buy the soap in this household.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 14 November 2002 16:54 (twenty-three years ago)

I like "buy the soap" as a new euphemism for being in charge.

Ronan (Ronan), Thursday, 14 November 2002 16:54 (twenty-three years ago)

There are two sets, obviously. The preferred set is Mentadent, Old Spice High Endurance, and either Lever 2000 or whatever fruity body wash seems appealing at the moment (currently apricot and jojoba, though I much prefer peach or the near-unfindable pear: there is something about fake pear fragrance that makes me sort of giggle at my own aroma all day). All this is actually quite rare, though, because I wind up running out of whatever I have and then sprinting around the corner to the shady liquor/convenience store for a stopgap -- the best options there are Crest, Right Guard, and Irish Spring Fresh Ronan Scent.

nabisco (nabisco), Thursday, 14 November 2002 17:15 (twenty-three years ago)

I used to use Tom's of Maine deodorant , but its not anti perspirant, so here in KC where it gets to be 102 degrees, one needs more power. And I use rembrant anti canker sore toothpaste which works quite well because it lack sodium lauryl sulfate, which exacerbates the cs 's.

electric sound of jim (electricsound), Friday, 15 November 2002 03:24 (twenty-three years ago)

Tom's Spearmint, Dove deodorant, Lever 2000 or St. Ives Vanilla body wash (or this chamomile bubble bath if I'm taking a bath). For shampoo I use Paul Mitchell swimmers shampoo, Infusium 3 min conditioner, Infusium leave in treatment (sometimes), and this weird no frizz pomade. I only wash my hair like once a week though.

Kris (aqueduct), Friday, 15 November 2002 03:56 (twenty-three years ago)

Colgate toothpaste. Pump dispenser thingy SO much more fun than boring old tube.

Sure cream deodorant, something like Cotton White or Cotton Fresh. Keep forgetting that applying deo straight after having just shaved under arms STINGS SOMETHING ROTTEN and is to be avoided

Badedas shower gel

Shampoo (and conditioner for my dry, dull, lifeless, unmanageable hair) changes all the time. I like the new Dove stuff and Herbal Essences. Currently using Neutrogena because it was recently Buy One Get One Free in Sainsbury's. It is rather good.

C J (C J), Friday, 15 November 2002 07:29 (twenty-three years ago)

I research markets, but the markets do not notice. FURTHERMORE>>>

Mike Hanle y (mike), Friday, 15 November 2002 07:34 (twenty-three years ago)

Urgent Correction - my toothpaste is actually called Pearl Drops NOT Close Up as I had previously stated. Apparently I don't pay much attention to the things that I put in my mouth on a daily basis. Shut up Dan.
